My name is Ray and I have 7 kids and, I have been coaching for 3 years now, Iam always thinking I need to teach my kids something new and ive been looking for a long time and now that I have watched your video I will have a chance to teach my kids great techniques that I think will benefit them and me, mind you my oldest son is 19 I went to all his games ……I recieved your video and all though baseball season hasnt started yet rest assure i will be trying some if not all those techniques . I think if you goal is to reach the masses $1.00 is great, but only you can decide what your bottom line should be. Keep in mind that you don’t want to limit the information to young players, but you still have to run a business too. Like life you’ll always have those that want something for free, and those that are willing to work to achieve their goal(s). I have always said that there are those that just work hard and there are those that work smart and hard.

I like this approach of the lost leader. It makes sense to allow current and future customers the ability to try a product at a low risk. Typically risk is evaluated from a cost perspective in this type of market. I am willing to invest $1.00 and if I learn nothing new from the video then the loss is minimal.

Thanks for the opportunity to get this video. I have not purchased anything from you before, but this sounds intriguing. As far as making it available at a low price, or keeping it at a high price so that perhaps other coaches will not get it, let me offer you this advice. If you are coaching youngsters, the whole idea is to develop them as far as is possible with the skills that they have. The idea of coaching is not simply to try to win at any cost. Most of your players, if not all, will never play professionally, but they may play for all of their life for the fun and joy of playing. I have coached for over 40 years and initially fell into the trap of trying to win. My greatest success however was taking youngsters who had few skills if any and turning them into ball players. Those “kids” are still playing today in senior leagues for fun. So if you make this video available to the widest audience possible, it will mean that more players will benefit and as a result will enjoy the game forever.

I’m very interested in the $1.00 video. I’m a new coach at the high school level and just got done playing college ball but could always learn new drills from a well known coach. I coaching my 8 year old son’s team, and the PONY league he is in, has close to 2000 kids participating in all the age levels. The league takes a lot of pride in beating other leagues when it comes to tournament time. The players mix year in and year out. So, you can either try to desperately hold onto the information that you think makes you a winner as a coach to build a reputation that will last 3-4 years or you can build one for a lifetime by making all the coaches that are teaching the kids that much better with your knowledge and make a bigger impact to a large number of kids rather than just a few. I say get it in the hands of your hardcore coaches for $1 or whatever, like the ones commenting this site and let them spread the word and create the buzz that you want.

The $1.00 sounds great. In the past I have purchased vidoes selectively and have paid up to the mid-$30’s, but today with the economy taking a big toll on my finances, I have just stopped buying because I can’t afford it. I’m sure there are others in my position who want to do a good job coaching the kids, but financial survival, particularly those of us self-employed, takes precident. Obviously, we can afford a buck. If it’s really that good, you will have credibility and will find it easier to sell products in the future.

Great idea! Make it a $1.00. The video on the 8 common hitting mistakes was very helpful. I worked soft toss with my two boys this weekend and reviewed the errors that were pointed out in the video- very helpful! My theory on distributing information to teams that may be in competition is this: Plant Green grass. The anecdote is based on the story of two neighbors standing along their fence lines and discussing their lawns. The first neighbor claims that no matter how many weeds he pulls or weed killer he puts down, his lawn always has more weeds in it that the second neighbor. The second neighbor tells the first that he never pulls a weed or uses chemicals. He states that every week he puts down new grass seed and that as the new grass grows there is little room for the weeds to grow.
Whether you are planting grass or teaching baseball the rule is the same: teach your kids, your team, your league, your region how to play better baseball and the whole field will look much better.

I’m always looking for more drills for our HS kids. They get bored with the same drills over and over, but if you can trick them into accomplishing the same thing via different drills, you have a winner.

Interesting problem…sell a bunch at a lower rate, or create a perceived value by charging a higher price? Sounds like selling art work! A few thoughts…first, if the video is good, it’ll make the rounds regardless of who originally purchases it. If there are a bunch of them out there, then they’ll be a bunch making the rounds and, presumably, most of those coaches will get on your website.
Second, these are nasty economic times. Many programs are suffering and the cost of even basic equipment is a problem. I think the $1 per dvd offer is generous and would help out many of us in the coaching community. After all, the goal is help our young players as much as we can, regardless of age or income.
Finally, like all baseball coaching techniques, this will have information which, if good, will soon become part of the coaching lexicon–look at each one of the major hitting gurus over the past 50 years and you’ll see that aspects of each are still with us–right or wrong. At $40 or $1, the methods will get out–you might as well benefit from increased website traffic…good luck, and I’m in…
The price is a good idea. I watch and listen to other coaches to learn the various techniques of teaching young players. I have done well doing this and have never purchased a video or book to this point. This peaks my interest and will get me to actually go “outside of the box” to gain more knowledge. If I recognize the value of this video your marketing strategy will work because I will then purchase more segments on the different areas of baseball.

The video is great, your process in showing the techniques are great, and for those out there that are being shown something new to be assisted in coaching this is wonderful. To be used exclusively by certain coaches, because they dont want the next coach to have the same tool, well, welcome to the world of coaching. Remember this if you will, there are a lot of other resources out there, whether you purchase videos online, from a store, or the internet (youtube). This is a great idea. I have three boys who love the game. For my boys to have the ability to watch a video at any time and go practice what they just watched would be so helpful. A batting coach is good for the moment, but a video is good for evey moment. I say, bring it on!

I’m in. I am relatively new to coaching baseball and need help. This would be a good way to get me going. Theres nothing more satisfying than watching a youngster evolve into a solid athlete through the proper training. Most definately would purchase. Been coaching 9 yrs now (this time around) and have had 4 State Final Four appearance, with a runner-up finish. The inability to hit cost us the Staet Championship at LEAST twice. Now that I started over with a 10 yr team, hitting is a priority. Baseball is a game of borrowed ideas. So, yes, I would pay $1 to borrow these effective and informative videos.

I appreciate the $1 offer. As a brand-new 8U coach, there are plenty of expenses between equipment, trips to the batting cages, and coaching material such as this. And it’s difficult to repeatedly plunk down $40 on stuff when you don’t know how applicable it is, or how much it overlaps other materials you have.
As for raising the price to keep it out of the hands of the competition, perhaps that’s appropriate for high schools and uber-competitive traveling teams. But for the majority of little league coaches, I think this kind of thinking is extremely misguided. So if you are targeting this video to help ‘the masses’, and not just the elite teams, I’d put that consideration aside.

As coaches we are always interested in additional instructional information, especially those that have proven successful. It is an added bonus to have access to this and other information, at the cost of $1.00 we should all be interested.
Great idea and I will purchase a copy regardless of the price. The vast majority of the players on the teams I coach and/or assist continue to have great difficulties in comprehending and applying proper hitting mechanics – no mater what method I try. I’d prefer the lower price, since we are a non-profit baseball club, however, I’d be willing to pay the higher price if I could audit the video and be satisfied with the value. I’ve purchased videos in the past that left me dissapointed (strategies and/or competencies were not credible or worth the investment).
I’m not worried about losing a competitive advantage to other coaches who teach their kids well and reference credible foundational basball skill building materials. Our mission with the NC Predators is to teach the boys well - every practice is clinic-like. We are true to the game and we understand our role at youth baseball coaches. We are not earning our primary income from coaching, however, we take our responsibility seariously enough to coach as though we were.

I intended to write back and thank you for the 3 ball toss video. I have already used it with my girls softball players. For years I have tried to teach going with the pitch with only minimal results. They just didn’t get it. For some reason, the way this drill is set up they have finally grasped the concept. I think your idea is great and I also understand the coaches not wanting it to be available for everyone. Maybe you should sell it for a $1.00 for a very limited time and then charge full price. I’ve been involved in baseball for 30 years, coaching for the last 8. I’m a firm believer in teaching kids all they can learn to better themselves and move onto the next level. I am interested. The final price should be determined after review. It is difficutl to set price points without knowing, and viewing the content. As others have stated, if this video is truly groundbreaking data, and as informational pact as indicated, the $1.00 offering may be too inexpensive. However, one must keep in mind the other revenue opportunities associated with increased newsletter hits/requests along with web traffic that this low cost offering is also expected to bring.
Again, I will be most interested in this offering and will look forward to when such information will be made available.

Since most of us adults are in it for the kids, any help would be appreciated,so although I think everyone needs to make money in these trying times, the kids are the non-profit entity we need to focus on. I am in for the $1.00, and for the kids.

Yes, for a dollar, I think any professional video is worth a try. And if a team gets results, I think a team should begin to order more training methods from the site. I have coached for 23 years on most all levels of baseball. And I find that techniques, when tought the correct way can ways improve a players game. Their are some videos and instructors who just teach the basics, and when they have more advance players, they have no notion of what to do or how to train the player. If this video is a good training tool, it will sell itself, by word of mouth. Please send me one.

If you want to promote your business then it’s a good idea to sell it for a buck. However, any other reason would not matter.Some will still want it for $40.Many will not spend $40 because they feel there is enough free info around. Many feel they know as much or more than anyone around but many more people will order it for a buck. It probably will not make a difference as the many who will order it for a buck will never order anything else unless it’s a buck or so.In the long run,you should do what is best for your business and that will be to sell it for $40. You will make more money that way and not give a product away to free loaders.

My son is 11 and I have employed a number of the drills from your material in either coaching his teams directly, or assisting the coaching staff of his teams. This looks like an excellent DVD and I think your idea of getting it out there for $1 is ingenious. Anyone at the youth level should be in this business for the kids - ALL of the kids - not just the ones on their teams. This will get quality instruction to more kids that they might not get otherwise and Lord knows there are guys out there “coaching” who need some quality help. I would definitely buy this for a buck and I know of a number of others who would, too. I think it is a good idea. At $50.00 I would be less likely to “pull the trigger”. At $1.00, there is no risk, and it would probably accomplish your goal of more activity on your website. I have a youth competitive team, where the parents “foot the bill”, so if I can show them results, based on a certain tool, then I can more easily purchase other tools.

However, other videos thru the Inner Circle were offered through a monthly subscription fee of $29.95. And I subscribed for 2-3 months. No doubt, the information was useful, but I couldn’t spend that much every month.

I think the climate of the baseball world needs a FRESH—CLEAN–approach.This sounds like a great opportunity for baseball through out the country. Yes! You can count on me. I believe you’re providing great information for those who love to coach babeball at any level. i love the drill about going with the pitch. Many times we know that information, but don’t know how to clearly explain the mechanics. The video really helps. I just chow it to one of my 12 year old layer. Thanks for the great info and tips. We just had our first 2 little league practices. I was able to use your 8 Hitting Mistakes video to identify different hitting problems some of the kids have. By using the appropriate drills, I’ve already seen improvement with the kids swings. I would welcome the opportunity to purchase your video for a buck. I have been coaching for over 20 years and I am hesitant to buy the next video as I see new offers practically every week and although they might contain some new things often they are repeats of material that I already have or have seen. When you offer something for free or a buck, it is incentive for me to get it when I would probably pass for 30 or 40 bucks. I think as
a business man it is a good move for you to get known. You’ve probably seen the “video professor” on TV. Kenny, This is my first time blogging on your website but I love your tips. I have an 11U travel ball team and I have mentioned your drills to them and they are excited to start something new. As all coaches, we find ourselves in a routine year in and year out. I feel for the $1 price tag, this is going to be a hit. I am going to put this $1 into our team fees and have all the kids buy a video and have them take it home and practice on there own so when we do these drills in practice, we can see what they have done on there own at home. It will show us the commitment of the child. It will weed the recreational ball player who is out there for the fun vs the competitive child that wants to move on into the high school level. I’ve been coaching for about 10 years with the last 5 years focused primarily on hitting. I have many DVD’s (costing much more) so I’m in for a $1.00. This should be something everyone should invest in. Our goal as coaches is to give proper instruction to our players to make them better and at this price there is no excuse.

A dollar? Are you kidding? I’ve purchased video’s from you in the past and they’ve been great. The biggest problem with any baseball/softball organization, Little League, ASA, Pony, etc. is the lack of shared information. The more we, as coaches, know and can teach our young players, the more kids come back to play. At this crazy price, a lot of coaches can have access to some real good info. Count me in.

I have seen many speakers and watched lots of video. While there are a lot of “styles” and ideas about hitting out there, I rarely see anything truly new or secret. I do however, love to see what others are doing and teaching. I appreciate your willingness to share information economically. I would gladly pay $1 for any baseball info. I am more reluctant to purchase anything else without first previewing it. There are lots of websites that will share “secrets” if the price is right. I have been coaching for 20+ years. I am a firm believer in teaching the game so the kids can enjoy the game of baseball. Here are my honest comments. You have a couple things to consider here; Is this your only source of income, is it now providing enough for you and your family? Have a large enough number of clients to sustain you? If the answer is yes to all, then wether you sell for one buck or regular cost matters for not. On the other hand, if you wish to really have a good connection with your clients by the special offer and grow your contacts with real meaningful communications, establishing a relationship that no other company has ever done before, then open this offer. There are still many, many coaches out there that need help; however, everyone wants $ for their assistance. Sometimes the assistance is worthless. I have been coaching and taught phy-ed for 20 plus years, there are still many things to learn. If you want to expand your business, consider this offer as an investment. I’m coaching 10-12Y baseball in little league and although winning is important, more important is to teach the players good fundamentals. I think this is a great idea. I realize that some coaches depend on Baseball Secrets for their livelihood, but there is too much of this and many kids are left out. I’m in Baseball for the fun of teaching kids how to play the game and offer my knowledge for free. I see many kids labeled early as prospects and others are forgotten. This happens around the age of 13, which is one of the most pivotal moments in a person’s life. Many of these forgotten kids no longer have anything to do and hopefully don’t make wrong decisions. We as a nation need to put the fun back into the game and allow anyone to develop their love for the game clear into adulthood. This also gives the advantage of these same kids teaching future generations. Many times, these secrets have only been shown to a few and has discouraged many kids from pursuing Baseball.
$1.00 will give many coaches a chance to teach many kids. I say sell it for $1.00 (i.e. Build it and they will come).

I see you heading towards a subscription price per month for the inner circle and that would include all your training videos in a video vault. Your instructors would get exposure to their messages and us members continue to get good updated training informaiton. What do you think????? $1.00 certainly creates buzz, but I would consider increasing the price a bit ($8.00 to $10.00). This will encourage purchasers to really use it since they have a monetary “investment” in the video. We used it last weekend and it really brought to life a point we had been teaching to a group of 13-14 year olds and honestly having a problem getting them to understand. It worked.

The object for you is to increase your customer base. This offer is sure to do that. I do not believe in keeping this secret tp myself. It is better for all young players to see the video to improve their skills. That is why we coach, for the kids, correct. If you as a coach do not want your competition to have this knowledge, that is OK, but the kids should be able to get it. If you are that concerned about your competition, you just might be going overboard, it’s a game for the kids.

I usually don’t respond like this but there was something on your video that I felt was important to reply to. First thing This is mostly for those coaches that are volunteers.
Any information that we can share with the other coaches that will help the kids become better players should be shared. I see to many coaches that just think about winning so they won’t help other teams with productive drills in hitting, fielding and throwing and it is the kids that suffer. I love to win but I want my compitition to be as good as possible this makes my win that much more rewarding. In the last 15 plus years coaching youth sports I have seen a lot of styles of coaching. some good and some not so good, I always ask a lot of questions as to why they do what they do and what will it do to help the kids. This helps me to be a better coach and teacher. I love the fact that you are willing to give this video for only $1.00 hopefully you will have lots of people buying it and helping the kids become better players. and if the video is as good as the others you have produced then it will help a lot of kids with there dream to become a great ball player. I have not read all the above comments, but on the coaches that would like to ‘Keep’ the secretes to themselves, please keep in mind that some of us are coaching younger players and it in not always about winning and loosing, but on teaching the children how to play and keep playing the game and not fall into just ‘a baseball fan’ category.

I think that it is a fabulous idea and opportunity for any coach who has
a desire to teach his players the proper technique(s) needed to be
successful on the diamond. If only one player from a 12 man roster
improved due to these drills, then is it not satisfying and well worth the
time and effort to teach that player ? Is that not the reason we all
decided to coach anyway ? I think so ! And it’s only a dollar !

First off, Sounds like a great teaching tool, I’m in!! What does concern me though, is the fact that some coaches out there want to keep it to themselves? Its not about the coaches having an upper hand on the competion, its about teaching the kids the proper fundamentals, and raising the level of competion for all. Great Idea for maketing and I would like to purchase for 1.00. Batting information is out there in abundance but information that can really make a big difference is not. Proven drills that can make a big difference is hard to find at this price.
This sounds GREAT to me. I coach an 11 year old team and half of them this is their first year playing competitive ball so what ever help I can get would be great. As far as keeping the price of videos up that is good for some people I guess, but I think those people are in it for the wrong reasons. If you offer this at a lower price than yes more people will purchase it, which means more kids will benefit from it and isn’t that why we coach? We coach to help the kids learn the game not so we as coaches can say I won our league the last five years, those kids won the league not you.
Anything that you or anyone else can do to make things more affordable makes all of the sense in the world to me.

$1 would be great. You could look at it as a marketing expense that you don’t actually have to spend, it’s just money you wouldn’t earn. In return, you could just ask that coaches pass on your website information to 2 friends, and so on, and so on.

I am really interested because i have been living in the netherlands for 16 years now and i just started to coach last year and this will help me alot because there is alot of pressure on me because i am an american they expect me to know everything and i don’t so this will help me quiet a bit, i think the price of $1 is great and know matter what anyone says they like the price you could make it alot more expesive but then only the coaches with more money would be able to buy it because we do not all have the same jobs, and unfornately if it is too exspenive it will find its way through back door sites on to the internet.

I think $5.00 is a great price. You are promoting your site and a video worth at least $40.00. If a person will not take a chance for $5.00 they will not take a chance at all. We (including kids) spend $5 on a lot of things that are of no real value and surly not a lasting value. An hour long video that will be valuable to coaches, kids, and the kids will have kids for generations to come who will benefit from the teachings.
If I can convince a child or parent of the value of a $15 batting glove that is really of no value if the kid does not have good machanics; then can’t convince the the same people on the value a of a 1 hour video for $5 that will add true value to the $15 batting glove and the cleats, and fielding glove, and etc… I need to put my clip board on moth-balls, lay back in my recliner and watch the game on T.V.
I will buy it at any promotional price you set.
I am an assistant coach only because I do not have the time available to be head coach at this time. But, I will have plenty to share with the time I do have with the kids.

Last year I coached 7 - 8 year olds and out of the 13 kids on 3 or 4 were consistent, by the end of the season maybe I was up to 6 or 7 kids were consistently hitting. Now I see it every year, more and more kids get frustrated with baseball and let’s face it, they’d rather play it on a video game than in person. I’d really like to see a much better technique to getting these kids to enjoy the game.

The more we care share good information the better the players we work with will be. Isn’t that really why we do this? If everone has the same information then I have to find a way to raise the level of play. Isn’t that more of the teaching part of being a coach.I have watched programs aound this area and and the lack of progress in development in far to many players. More education for everyone.

On another note, I’m looking for any help for one of my daughters that is moving up this year to play softball at what we refer to as “freshmen” level, it’s girls that are 11-13. She’s a pretty solid player, but last year in one game alone but hit three times by the same pitcher and a total of five times in the same tournament. Since that time, she is very timid at the plate. I watched the 8 mistakes video and the the best hitting drill several times it validates some of things we’ve been telling our 8 year olds and gives us moreto think about. I for sure want to purchase the video. I coached by son in Dixie Youth for 7 years until he moved on to high school baseball in 12 years ago. I am back and will be managing a 13-14 team. I think that all kids should get a chance to shine . I think the more coaches that learn from the video the better. I love the game of baseball and want as many kids to play as possible. Kenny, you never know how much of a video you will really get any benefit from. Some things you find that you are already teaching while watching videos. I think that the video for a dollar would be great. I know that there is alot of coaches that ask me questions on how i get the boys to play so well. And the better they coach makes it better for me when i get the kids the next year.

I’m for a buck. I caoch 7 year olds and could use some instructional help. Most of us are just traching the “wrong” things we were taught when we were kids.
I have really enjoyed the last two video’s and I am definetly interested in viewing the other drills that you use. My only problem is that I am helping coach 6 and 7 year olds and I am not sure how much of this applies to this age group. I would like to teach them the basics without taking it too far. I think that a $1.00 limited time offer is a great idea. Issue this video for a predetermined time or number of people for a dollar and then it goes to full price. That will help you see measure the increase in hits on your site and quantify the effectiveness of your campain.

Hi Coach! I think you are crazy, and I love it! The one dollar cost on this would be awesome, and I think that it would get you a loyal following. I don’t think that there are many coaches that really research how to play baseball, but they think that they know everything because they played when they were kids. If you do give this away for $1, I would imagine that no two coaches in the same league would buy it, or even know about it.
Plus, I always tell the kids on my team that knowledge is not power, applied knowledge is power, and very few of the people that actually buy this will apply it anyway.

I guess I’m sounding like a cheapskate but I would buy the video for a $1.00. Let face it we live in a capitalist country and to get a steal now and then is great. This is truthly a steal for a $1.00. We are a summer league here in Wisconsin and we just started open gym this week.
I personally love drills, new or old. anything the kids can do. The only thing is for the kids to buy into it. Change is good, it stops the kids from becoming complacent. Anyway that’s my story and I’m sticken with it

I think that charging $1.00 for what I would consider to be a great teaching tool would be fantastic. You will definately gain brand loyality from your customers as well as word of mouth advertising. The notion that keeping the price up just to keep it from getting to the competition is just selfish. We all want to give our kids the best coaching we can as well as competing against the best there is. The more kids it reaches the better! I look forward to receiving a copy and will spread the word around my league about this great opportunity.

I am a part time scout for the Chicago White Sox in Utah and idaho. I have scouted Coach Cramblitt’s teams for the last 10 years and his teams hit as well as any high school teams in my area. i think $1.00 is unreasonable because I do not believe that does not do coach Cramblitt justice, maybe $15.00 or $20.00 would be better. He deserves more than full price as far as I am concerned.

I agree with a lot of the coaches on here, a buck is great and to be able to get this out to as many coaches as possible will benefit the masses. I see all too often youth league coaches who are instructing their players incorrectly and not by lack of effort, but by lack of knowledge themselves. I think your doing a great thing Kenny. I’ve been coaching youth baseball for 15 years ages .(7-15) and it’s amazing the how hard it is to get a kid to come with consistent baseball swing. I’ve use some of your other drills that help but i’m always looking for more. And one more thing being unemployed and not being able to spend a lot of money for stuff like this, even though I would if I could really helps. I’m sure there are a lot of people in my same boat. Proper mechanics are extremely important for the 7/8 boys I’m currently coaching. Our league has made a solid commitment to improve the quality of coaching, and your video will most certainly assist in our progress. Winning isn’t everything. The game is more important and to the extent we can improve the performance and enjoyment of the game the more we spread our knowledge, the better.

I think that is a real good thing to offer for a buck! I have bought products from you over the years and have been satisfied. This is a good thing because with the economy the way it is, us coaches need all the help we can get. I have been coaching Little League for nine years now and love it. I usually spend two to three hundred dollars a season for different products. But last year I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I had my last infusion today and I will be coaching my son come this spring. So needless to say, with all the co-pays and doctor bills and being on long-term disability, money has been pretty lacks. So when I ready your email and watched the video I was glad that there is somebody out there who is thinking about us for a change. As far as all the coaches having the same information; I believe we all have different techniques in coaching. So I do mind that another coach would be privy to the same ’secrets’ that I have available to me.

As far as not wanting to share with the opposing coaches, I for one believe there are very few secrets out there anymore. Basic hitting philosophies are followed by most of the top coaches today and it is just finding those new and interesting ways of getting that philosophy and hitting techniques to the players. I agree with several other coaches on the list. I work with 7 & 8 year olds and if the program was affordable, more people would have the opportunity to develop as a hitter. I have seen far to many kids walk back to the dugout after stiking out.

It makes me feel good that there are people like you still out there. So what if every other coach out there is using the same teaching skills. It makes it easier for the next coach to teach the same kid the same skills that work, after all most of are in it for the kids and we are not in it for anykind of money. Coach, thank you for the tips. I have three boys - ages 6, 4 and 2 years old. The 6 year old has been playing every league available in our area since he was 3. He has moved up to playing instructional league (pitching machine set at 41 mph) for two full seasons. At first glance, he has a perfect swing but does not seem to make consistent contact. I can not figure out what is wrong in his swing. I hope this video will help make the adjustment. I will also be able to use the video tips for all of the players on all three boys’ teams as they are growing up. It is exciting to think about how many ballplayers can be improved for ONLY $1.00. At $40.00, I’m priced out of the market and I don’t know that it is worth the value despite the hype. At $1.00, I’m willing to try out the product and if very happy, I’m much more likely to spread the word, trust your websites products and advice and more likely to be a repeat customer when the prices go back to normal.
First thing I want to say is thanks for all you do for us as coaches it means alot. As far as being interested in this $1.00 deal I think it is a great thing for everyone. We are a 11under team in South Carolina I dont think we could ever get anough help with our boys on any part of the game. But once this video is in their hands those who have never bought from you will see the caliber of baseball info and videos that you offer. I have been coaching 9-12 yr olds for 3 years and am always looking for ways to teach the fundamentals. I have used many of your techniques and have had great success with each team. I would pay full price for the wealth of information I have gotten from your newsletters and emails. $1 doesn’t seem to do justice for this much information, but i fthat is what you decide I am sure it will help many more kids learn the game.
I will try it for $1. It’s always good to discover new drills. Some might work better for others; combining as much knowledge as you can get will better equip you to help all hitters.

I admit I sound cheap, but I like the $1.00 idea, especially with this economy! I am a PE teacher and 9th grade coach. Have done various levels in the last 7 years. Might be the PE teacher in me, but in response to some hoping only they have it to keep an edge on the competition, I believe in whatever benefits the game and those that play it. The more that can benefit and improve themselves and the game, the better. No matter what tools you have you still have to be able to teach it. That is where a coach gets their edge. As a hitting coach for a local high school I would love to see this video for $1.00, I would not care if all the other coaches in this area were able to get it too. I think the essential giveaway of $1.00 is a great idea. It will draw more interest for you on your site, for your newsletter, and for other products. It will also enable more coaches, parents and players to have access to this resource. We’ve all had experience with spending money on a less-than-favorable training resources. This will draw more interest by reducing the risk factor for some people.
I would definately pay $1.00 for a great video. I am coaching 2 teams one Pony and one a traveling team and I am always looking for great deals on equipment and instructions. I know there is a lot of coaches out there that are like me. We don’t have a lot of money but we have time and a passion for teaching the game of baseball and softball. Thanks, Kenny! Of course, I would love to get this at $1, and I’m sure that a lot of coaches in my area would hear about it. One thing that we’ve seen in our area is that the older the kids get, the fewer the numbers of boys who are continuing on with baseball. I believe one of the reasons for that is that many of the boys are not improving. When they’re younger, and most of the kids are somewhat similar in skill level, the game is still fun for them. But as they get older, and some of the kids are really excelling in the game, and they’re not, it’s no fun anymore, especially if they’re not really contributing to the team’s offense. When a kid keeps failing over and over again at the plate, they can quickly lose interest in the game.
So, if more and more of these volunteer coaches had a resource like this easily accessible (for $1), this could really help more and more youngsters stay interested in playing baseball for many years, and hopefully keep them loving baseball, which is what it’s all about (’for the love of the game’)!

If the offer is sincere - no strings attached - and the product of good quality - you will be gaining the trust and loyalty of many of us going forward with your site and your business. The ’secret formula’ argumnet holds no water with me - we are talking about youth baseball here - nothing is more discouraging then to see players flounder and loss interest in the game of baseball because of well meaning but ultimately ineffective coaching. Most teams are coached by volunteer parents - most without any real training or expertise - anything that can be done to bring those coaches along to better the baseball experience for thier players is a plus. Youth baseball is losing quality players to laccrose, soccer, swimming and year round single sport training at an alarming rate - we need to keep the young player interested and growing in the game. hi kenny. i think this video will be really great. a coach and i ran an indoor clinic this winter and we did alot of hitting. we saw alot of lunging at ball, and alot of arm barring when hitting. the clinic was for 7 to 14 year olds. we tried to break the swing down for them to teach them the proper mechanics. i think a $1 would be great. i am in for a $1. thanks jamie sedgwick

Kenny, sounds great for a buck! I coach at a youth org. everything we do is vol. work. We have to raise all the money for everything that we do. We also have many other sports in our youth org. When I am not working I am either coaching, cutting our fields, working our snack bar, picking up trash, fixing our tractor, going to the different league meetings, our meetings,buying the equipement we need, uniforms etc. I spent 40/50 hours at our youth org. It
is very hard to help the kids when everything cost what it cust today. The web is a great place where I can tell our new coaches to go. Some people have never played or don’t know the sport but want to coach or help. It is so hard to find people to help we take any vol. We than do our own clinics with as much info as we can get. Your site is one that I use with all the information you give. I want to thank you and please keep doing what you are doing, the more info the better. We have boys and girls from 6 yrs to 18/19 yrs and we never turn anyone away.

Coach Kenny, I am a former high school track coach and I would like to coach high school baseball. I often used video to teach drills,technique, and fundamentals when I coached track. The lower the price the more coah’s you have teaching good baseball. As a coach you want to have your kids have learn and not beat the crap out of there copetion because the coach dose not know these tricks because they can not afford them.

A point that I would like to make is that a coach should not be concerned with other teams receiving good information. That attitude will not benefit this great sport of ours. If this type of selfish thinking was promoted than we would not have access to clinicians, training tips, etc at coaching clinics. I beleive that we must pass this information on to all who want it. Being that I am a volunteer for the league and anything I spend I don’t get back, spending a buck is a lot easier to do then if the video were more. With that said if the video really helps the kids then it definitly is worth the extra money. Most parents would spend the money on a video to make their kids better players, they already spend rediculous money on bats that kids grow out of in 1 year. Knowing how to use that bat, now thats money well spent. But since you have lost your mind please sign me up for a buck. Ken, It’s all about teaching the kids baseball. The more people that are interested in getting better in baseball the better the sport of baseball becomes. For the longest time baseball was a dying sport. It is finally making a comeback. I wish the coaches in our township would teach the kids the game as apposed to do everything to win. I am very interested but I am honest is there more to this than just the 1.00. I think it would be great to study this video to help my team. I have coached my son’s team since he was 4 years old and he will be ten this year. I am always looking for an edge to help my teams succeed and for the progress of the boys.
I paid for the site and got nothing. I called the number and was told to send an email and you mopes would get in touch with me. Once again… NOTHING. What a ripoff!!!!

I think this is a great idea. It really isn’t all about winning but about being able to work with our kids and help them boost their skills and therefore their confidence. I would even be willing to double it to $2.00!!

$1:00 is a great price alot of youth coaches out there can not afford to by instructional videos because they all have families to take care of this is a great method for you to share your knowledge with alot more coaches then normal. As for the competition being able to use it to that does not bother me because I would rather bring my team to a game that is going to be competitive on both sides and be close than to blow some team out of the water. We need more thingds like this to ensure that we have good coaches out there teaching the future of our nation the right way to play ball.

As a former pitcher at the collegiate level and now a youth coach…I can say that I really need help teaching kids better hitting techniques. I’m not even sure if you’re still offering this $1.00 deal, but sign me up. We’ll take a peak and most likely send you some more cash after we see results. In addition, I’m actually up here in Utah and will check out a few of Steve Cramblitt’s ball games at Juan Diego HS.
